wip #1 for a humanities project. or maybe just for the useless invention project. what kind of bus station has gaping holes in like that in it? ... but no, I think it's humanities since I wanted to do a hairdryer that sprayed water for illustration.
changes to be made: character looks too much like other character (lex), this can be corrected by pulling in the chin and fussing with the eyes a little more. 8|a fuss with perspective a bit, it is really damn wonky, esp. the scaffolding. The feet could use some correcting, too. Something about the sidewalk bothers me and I feel like hte sign is unclear.
After that, on to value studies.
(this is Ayn. her bff/counterpart is the protagonist, Judith but please call her Jude.)

the event!! digital sketch

Suggestions made at critique:
Add an inch to the right side
Add clutter
Remove the lantern
Drop the curtain to hide more
Remove the coat
All items should be taxidermy-related
maybe add an urn?? <--but they were talking about the murderer's mom? who doesn't really have anything to do with the story at all. SO. chose not to do that.

"unsolved mystery" finished mockup
"unsolved mystery" wip 6
The assignment is to create an "unsolvable" mystery through illustration--there should be clues as to what happened, but you can't be able to figure out exactly what's up. 8|a So I'm kind of futzing around with how much clutter to put in. Right now I think it's really top-heavy, so I'm lightening up the top of the page and darkening the bottom...
